My heart, always with me, never forgotten

"Webster" was the show dog of my dreams and a
wonderful companion.   He is a 7th generation  multi Best in Show winner and a 3rd generation Grand Champion on a
direct sire line.  His show wins are far too numerous to
list. He always gave his all and truly enjoyed his time in the
ring.  Such a show off.

As a stud dog Webster has proven his worth.  He is a sire
of 10 Champion progeny to date, with others pointed
toward their titles.   His progeny are often in the winner's
circle winning at all levels, from breed classes right through
to BEST IN SHOW!  We have semen stored both here
in Australia and in Utah. USA, with a limited number
available to approved purchasers.

Webster retired from the show ring at the 2008 NSW Show
Dog of the Year competition.  Ever the ultimate show dog,
he made sure to go out in style winning RUNNER UP DOG OF THE YEAR!!  A first for our breed.

For Webster:

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

We'd like to share a few of the many wonderful comments
we received about our boy from people all over the world.
Our hearts are full to know that he was loved by others.

"I know how much Web was your heart & soul, he was the
most beautiful boy and one that made me fall in love with
the breed.  He will truly be missed"

"He was the most beautiful boy; really I never saw a dog that
captured my heart and imagination like he did"

"My heart aches, love to you both at such a hard time.
Thank you So much for letting me show him many years
ago, a memory I will cherish forever."

"Webster was one of the breed greats for sure"

"Such a very special dog in every way"

"I only met him the one time in Oz at the Nationals, but it
was love at first sight.  He truly was a memorable boy."

"You know how much I loved him and I never met him".

Thank you.   Just thank you xxx

I'd like to share a few photos that my dear friend Penny Brooks, a very talented photographer whose photos feature prominently on
this website, took just a month before we lost him.
She will never know what a gift she gave us when she called offering a spur of the moment photo shoot.
A beauty until the very end xx
